Is this loose leaf or in tea bags?
This tea is loose leaf, each tin comes with 1 oz of tea, or roughly 10 servings. We also have teas available in ready to brew bags.
Is this safe for pregnancy & breast feeding?
Individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult with a healthcare provider before using. Fir Needle has shown some troubling outcomes for pregnant livestock when a large amount is ingested but it has never had any official human testing. All of the other ingredients are generally considered safe. Please use your own discretion, your health decisions are entirely up to you.
Is this safe for children?
Yes, it’s safe for children of all ages. We recommend one sip per of life throughout the day.
How long should I steep the tea?
We recommend at least 15 minutes steeped in hot water.
Can I drink this iced?
Yes, a cold infusion will take longer to steep. We recommend putting three tea bags in a quart mason jar filled with water and allowing it to steep overnight in the refrigerator.
Is this safe for those with high blood pressure?
Yes, Hibiscus has shown incredible benefits for supporting healthy blood pressure.
Is this safe for diabetics?
Yes, Hibiscus & Cinnamon have shown to have incredible benefits for supporting healthy blood sugar.
Will this really help me feel better?
Many of our customers have had great results with this tea but please remember that nothing is one size fits all. What works great for one person may not work for another, but we really hope this helps you!
Can I add sweetener to the tea?
Yes. This isn’t your run of the mill grocery store tea, we do not add any sweetener or artificial flavors. This is herbs, weeds, and wildflowers in all their glory. If you prefer your tea on the sweeter side we recommend adding in some honey, lemon, or even a cinnamon stick to hit the spot.
